How it is calculated

The Canadian CT Head Rule applies only to minor head injury with witnessed loss of consciousness, amnesia or disorientation, and a GCS of 13-15. IT excludes anticoagulated patients, seizure after injury, and age under 16 - so a patient on warfarin or a DOAC is not covered by it and generally needs imaging regardless.
