How it is calculated

The nomogram treatment line runs from 150 mg/L at 4 hours, halving every 4 hours. It is only valid for a single acute ingestion at a known time, and only from 4 hours onward - a level before 4 hours cannot be interpreted. Staggered ingestion, unknown timing or late presentation means treating without the nomogram.
