How it is calculated

TTKG = (urine K / serum K) / (urine osmolality / serum osmolality). It asks whether the kidney is behaving appropriately for the potassium level. Only valid when urine osmolality exceeds serum osmolality and urine sodium is above 25 mmol/L.
