How it is calculated
Wells score for PE. This tool bands by the original three-level split: low under 2, moderate 2-6, high above 6. The two-level version is now more widely used: 4 or less is "PE unlikely", which goes to a D-dimer, and above 4 is "PE likely", which goes to imaging. Check which one your local pathway is written around.
