Range0 to 150 mg/dL

Triglycerides. Very high levels cause pancreatitis, and above about 400 mg/dL the calculated LDL becomes invalid.

When it is low

Malnutrition, hyperthyroidism, malabsorption

When it is high

Metabolic syndrome, diabetes, alcohol, pancreatitis risk if >500
