Range0 to 0.01 ng/mL

About

The other cardiac troponin, used the same way as troponin I. It can be chronically raised in renal failure without any acute event.

When it is low

Normal - no myocardial injury

When it is high

Myocardial injury: MI, myocarditis, PE, renal failure, sepsis
